Lovefiant is built on trust. Your emotional data is deeply personal, and we are committed to keeping it private, secure, and entirely under your control.

What we collect
When you use Lovefiant, you may share: your email and display name, profile photo, daily mood check-ins (mood, energy, social battery, stress, sleep, heart rate), feelings and expectations, intimacy signals, flirts sent to your partner, kinks/desires you opt into, love notes, photos you add to your shared gallery, and messages you exchange with Sage, our AI assistant.
Who sees your data
Your check-ins, notes, photos and shared preferences are visible only to you and the partner you are actively connected with. No other user can access your data. Administrators may access limited metadata strictly for maintaining service integrity.
AI features
Sage, our AI relationship assistant, processes your mood context and conversation messages to provide supportive, personalized responses. This data is sent to our LLM provider for generating responses and is not used to train models.
Notifications
If you turn on partner activity alerts, we send a push notification to your device when your partner checks in or leaves you a love note. The notification only says that something happened — never the content of a check-in or note — and you can switch alerts off at any time in Settings.
Photos and uploads
Photos you add to your shared gallery are stored privately. They are never given a public link, and they are only shown to you and your connected partner inside the app.
How long we keep it
Your shared data — mood entries, flirts, kinks, notes, photos, chat messages, and connection history — is permanently and immediately deleted when you or your partner end a connection. A private summary of your relationship trends is retained for your personal insights only.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your mood entries at any time, opt out of sharing kinks/desires independently, and turn partner notifications on or off in Settings. Ending a connection permanently removes all shared data. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which immediately erases your account and everything you shared with your partner.
Security
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is governed by row-level security so only you and your connected partner can read your shared records. We never sell your data to third parties.
